«Don't forget hospitality; It was by practising it that some welcomed angels without knowing it.» - Hebrews 13:2

The House of Hospitality (HH) was inaugurated on 17 February 2024 by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and is dedicated to the glory of God and the service of his Church. It is located in Rua das Janelas Verdes, in the city centre of Lisbon, and is part of the Cathedral of S. Paulo, a former Carmelite Monastery from the 17th century. It is the Cathedral of the Lusitanian Church of the Anglican Communion.
It is intended for the Mission of God in welcoming the people of the Church, people in need, visitors from the Anglican Communion and other Churches, pilgrims and other interested parties. It is an environment of fraternal welcome and Christian coexistence.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this space of welcome and communion.

The HH has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette area for cooking and serving light meals. The total accommodation is 10 beds distributed between 3 double rooms (single beds) and 1 quadruple room (single beds).
For groups wishing to stay at the HH, a kitchen and dining room can be made available in other facilities in the Cathedral, as well as space for groups to meet. The cloisters and garden are open for the enjoyment of those interested.
Visitors are provided with bed linen, bath towels and eating utensils. The facilities have a cleaning and laundry service. The rooms and other common areas are equipped with free WiFi internet.
Spiritual and pastoral support and accompaniment can be provided by the clergy. Everyone is fraternally invited to join in the celebrations and prayers at St Paul's Cathedral. The temple can be opened daily for individual prayer.
HH aims for its own financial sustainability, so users are asked to make a donation after each stay.
